Life lately via iphone photos.
Said goodbye to Grandma Dudley, she moved to Texas the next day.
Jack is obsessed with his big muscles. His healthy eating is making his muscles grow.
Quin likes being naked a little too much. Within two minutes of getting to the park, he had stripped down. What am I going to do with this kid?
Brigham City Temple
We got to take our family through the Brigham City Temple open house. Oh.... my.... goodness..... it's breathtaking! I was a bit skeptical taking our young kids in there, but I think they felt the spirit and they were calm, quiet, and perfectly well behaved throughout. The only time we had to shush Quin was when he started singing "I am a Child of God." Are you kidding me! Out of nowhere starts singing this song, and we shushed him. So sweet and so sad.
We snapped a couple quick photos outside and went to get pizza. What a great family home evening!

The genius of Pinterest, and a little of my own.
I am sure you all know already how addicting Pinterest is. I can really claim very little creativity in my life now, any good idea I get, more often than not comes from Pinterest. However I can claim this lovely little idea. I have been desperate to get Jack to get some greens in his diet, all the kids, but especially Jack. He hates....HATES green smoothies that I make (and I've tried to make a plethora of different kinds for him). But he has an intense love for popsicles. So my brain gotta workin and I figured I could combine the two. I took otter pops, emptied the inside and used the plastic outside to pour in green smoothie. closed it with a Bobbie pin. Put it in the freezer and crossed my fingers. Quin and Seren were fans, Jack was....ok with it. I told him we are never having "color popsicles again" only green ones, because they were healthy. He's really been obsessed with asking me what is healthy and what isn't lately. I really like it actually, that he cares. Anyways, I am feeling quite proud of myself for thinking this up. Give it a try!
This was from Pinterest and the kids really enjoyed finger painting without the mess! Put different paint colors in gallon freezer bags and tape it to the table.
We love Primary!
Jack has an awesome primary teacher who stopped by randomly and dropped this delicious plate of cookies off with a very nice note. I have to remind Jack that her name is Sister Pectol, not sister Pecker :).
Oh my dear cuteness.
One of the MANY reasons I am longing for fall. Look at this killer cute jacket I found for Seren. Way to go Target! You sure put out some cute stuff!

Swimming and Doughnuts
One of our favorite things to do this summer has been going to the pool and getting doughnuts. I have to say, starting out swimming this summer was tough. Jack wouldn't even put his face in the water and Quin couldn't balance himself with a life jacket. We did some thinking and decided we'd try out floaties for Quin and ginormous goggles and a breathing tube for Jack. We started Jack out in the bath tub, after he got used to that he was eager to try it at the pool. Now they are all little fish. Seren does great too, of course we always have to hold her, but she loves to put her face under with mommy and daddy. In case you were wondering, no, it isn't a speedo we have on Quin, he lost his suit and that's just the cover for his swim diaper that looks like a speedo. I haven't been to buy a new suit just yet, because I think it looks flippin adorable!
